About the workshop
I’m Stu. I build props. One person, a room full of printers.
Screen accurate cosplay props, lightsaber hilts, helmets and armour, built to look the part without costing what the big replica companies charge. Originally from England, now based in Pennsylvania.

How it started
It started with a wall of lightsabers.
About six years ago I wanted a wall of lightsabers. Machined replicas cost hundreds of dollars each, and I wanted more than one. So I bought an Ender 3 and decided to print them myself.
Then came an Artillery Sidewinder. Then a FLSUN Super Racer. Somewhere in there people started asking if they could buy what I was making. That’s when the hobby turned into a workshop.
I grew up on science fiction, video games and model kits, and that hasn’t changed. I still build for my own costumes. I still get far too excited about a good weathering job. The difference now is that I get to do it for other people too.
The machines
Six printers. Each one has a job.
Every piece gets printed, cleaned, assembled and finished right here. Here’s what does the printing.
Bambu Lab P1P
Enclosed. Handles large armour and helmet parts.
FDMAnycubic Kobra 3 Max
The biggest build volume in the room.
FDMElegoo Neptune 3 Pro
Mid size builds.
FDMBambu Lab A1 Mini
Prototypes and small details.
FDMElegoo Saturn 2 12K
Fine detail on hilts, emblems and greebles.
ResinElegoo Mars 2
Small resin parts where detail matters most.
ResinHow I work
Three rules. I don’t bend them.
Craftsmanship
Every prop gets sanded, primed and painted by hand. If it isn’t good enough, it doesn’t ship.
Fair prices
I got priced out of this hobby myself. So I keep high end detail at prices real people can afford.
Honesty
Straight answers on timelines, budgets and what can and can’t be built. All before you pay anything.
Cheap props are easy. I want to build something that feels real in your hands.
